Facebook video downloader
in HD

Save public Facebook videos, Reels and fb.watch links as MP4. Pick the quality and the file goes straight to your phone or computer.

Which Facebook videos can be saved

Videos from public pages, public profiles and Reels are supported. Copy the link with Share, Copy link, or take it from the browser address bar. Short fb.watch links work too.

Videos in private groups, friends-only posts and live broadcasts in progress cannot be downloaded. Once a stream ends and is saved as a video, its link works like any other.

Three steps

    Copy the link

Open the video in the app or browser, tap Share, then Copy link.

  2. 2

    Pick the quality

1080p, 4K, 720p or MP3. The file downloads straight to your computer or phone.

Frequently asked questions

Can I download Facebook Reels?

Yes. Paste the Reel link and choose the quality.

Can I download videos from private groups?

No. GetClip has no access to private groups or friends-only posts, only to public videos.

Which quality should I choose?

The highest option gives the sharpest picture. A lower resolution makes a smaller file that downloads faster on a slow connection.

Does it work in the Facebook in-app browser?

It is better to open GetClip in Chrome or Safari. The in-app browser often blocks file downloads.

Where is the downloaded video saved?

In your browser's Downloads folder. On iPhone: Files app, Downloads. Nothing stays on the server.

Is it legal?

Only download content you have the right to: your own videos, openly licensed material, or with the author's permission. Respecting copyright is the user's responsibility.
