Instagram Reels downloader
in original quality

Paste a link to a public Reel or video post and save it as MP4. No Instagram login is needed and nothing is stored on our server.

Reels and video posts

Open the Reel or post, tap the share icon or the three dots and choose Copy link. Links like instagram.com/reel/... and instagram.com/p/... both work, as long as the account is public.

Instagram sometimes asks visitors to log in before showing content. If a link fails, wait a few minutes and try again. Private accounts and Stories are not supported.

Frequently asked questions

Can I download Instagram Stories?

No. Stories require being logged in, so only Reels and public video posts are supported.

Do I need an Instagram account?

No. You only need the link. GetClip never asks for your Instagram login.

Can I save the audio from a Reel?

Yes. After pasting the link, open the Audio tab and choose MP3.

Why does a link sometimes fail?

Instagram limits anonymous access from time to time. Waiting a few minutes usually helps. Links to private accounts never work.

Where is the downloaded video saved?

In your browser's Downloads folder. On iPhone: Files app, Downloads. Nothing stays on the server.

Is it legal?

Only download content you have the right to: your own videos, openly licensed material, or with the author's permission. Respecting copyright is the user's responsibility.
